Who we are

At TheraPrinted, we use 3D printing, Cricut crafting, and Canva design to create therapeutic tools and resources that support children, and their grown-ups, through medical experiences.

Developed by a Child Life Therapist and an Engineer, our tools help kids prepare for procedures, ask questions, and gain a sense of control in medical environments that often feel overwhelming.

We are deeply passionate about child-centred care and the power of play to reduce fear, build understanding, and improve outcomes for kids in hospital or living with medical needs. We work closely with healthcare teams to ensure our products are realistic, safe, and clinically relevant, while remaining engaging and child-friendly.

And while children with medical needs should see themselves represented in toys and play, our 3D printed tools aim to go beyond that... every child benefits from learning that bodies and medical needs come in all forms. We want to build play spaces where differences are understood, because when we raise kids who are confident around difference, we raise a kinder, more inclusive world.

Based on Awabakal land in Newcastle, we value our local community and source materials locally wherever possible. We are also committed to keeping our tools affordable and accessible so that cost is never a barrier to care and representation.

We have a long list of ideas we can’t wait to bring to life, please reach out with any suggestions! We look forward to connecting with our community.
