Unlike hearing aids that simply amplify sound, Cochlear Implants convert sound into electrical signals to help people with severe-to-profound hearing loss perceive sound. They have two parts: an internal implant placed during surgery that stimulates the auditory nerve, and an external processor worn on the ear – this is what TheraPrinted have created!

Our Cochlear Implant is thoughtfully designed to help children explore, understand, and feel more confident about their hearing device through play.

Available in multiple colours, and as either Left, or Right, or Bilateral.

Why it’s special:

  • With realistic details, the Cochlear Implant mirrors real-world devices

  • Wearable for immersive play, designed so either our headband can thread through, or you can use your own elastic, clip, or it can be sewn into a doll or teddy.

  • Encourages open-ended play and self-exploration

  • Ideal for Therapists, parents, or inclusive classrooms

If you require the headband, please ensure you add on. One headband can be looped through both processors. Standard length is 40mm but we can provide additional on request.
